What to wear to your engagement session
Engagement photos are a great way to express your personalities and love!
I always suggest two outfits for your engagement session. One casual but cute and one more dressy! Also be sure to consider the location you chose and the vibe you want for your photos. If you are doing an in home session wear comfy clothes you would loung around in. Be sure to choose outfits that you can move around in comfortable without wardrobe malfunctions. I don't want you to feel restricted from movement because of the outfit you chose!! We will be running around, dancing, and moving a lot so we want your outfit to look good at all angles. Make sure your outfits are something you both would wear out something you feel your most confident in!! You don’t have to be fancy, but if that’s your personality then go for it! Just be YOU! I’ve given lots of scenarios below for inspiration and links to the exact looks if you want to copy them!!
Colors!
Stick to neutral tones, ie; White, tan, creams, black!! -or deep warm colors such as; maroon, rust, mustard, red, etc. STAY AWAY from bright colors like neon's, fluorescent, etc. Bright colors will reflect light creating weird color casts on your skin. It also creates problems when it comes to my editing style. I also don't recommend graphic tee's as they distract from the image. Florals are okay as well as long as your significant other is in solids. Same goes for the guys if they are in plaid you will want to be in a solid,
Layer it up and add texture!IE; fringe, silk, denim, lace!! During those cooler temps jackets + Sweaters always look great. Dresses that are extra flowy are highly suggested. Accessories like hats, jewelry, ties, etc. are always fun too! Don't forget about nice clean shoes! Make sure you are able to walk well in them and they are appropriate for the session!! Ie; you don’t want to hike up a mountain in stilettos. Or if you plan to go barefoot let me know so I can plan the location around that!!
I also love props!!! Record players, white sheets, stuff to make a picnic!! Lets dream up something magical together!!

For the ~Boho field session!
This white flowy dress is the perfect look for a field session in the spring! Pair it with a textured wicker hat and bag for that extra boho vibe!! For your honey I loved this hunter green button up and denim jeans for a more casual vibe! his canvas sneakers just bring in that wicker color from her accessories!
This would be perfect ootd for a styled picnic, field session, white sheet, or floral field!

For the Cute but Casual!
I love this white top for a flirty girly feel paired with these trendy mom jeans for and a small sandal heel so you can move around as much as you want!
For him! I went with an off white button up, jeans, and white tennis shoes!! This is the he will probably feel most comfortable in!

For him I went a bit more simple so that he doesn’t clash with the dress and so its the statement piece!
